When I bought them at dicks sporting goods the thought of
light, warm and waterproof sold me. Unfortunately, maybe
because I bought them to jog in the snow and in the rain,
they fell short of expectation. Not sure exactly when I
bought them but I do remember that it was a day with light
snow when I felt my feet wet. I thought it might be sweat
but I was just fooling myself. Even now i still wear them
because they are still light, comfortable and warm.
Especially with temperatures in the low 30's. They are not
water proof though.
I purchased these boots last year from a store in Salamanca
NY. I was extremely happy with comfort, warmth and the
vibram sole in icy conditions. After four months, I noticed
a crack in the right boot where the foot bends at the toe. I
returned them for my money back. I would love to purchase
the same boot again but would like to know if the problem
has been corrected before I try again. The price of these
boots should warrant excellent materials. Wannabe a

Hey, this message is for their Team and I wanted to know if
the cracking issue on the shoe has been fixed. I have this
shoe since last year, unfortunately, I have to buy a new
Merrell because mine has a "Crack " too on the top part. Can
you please let me know if something has been done about it?
This boot is as warm as expected. I work for a national
garden center and it only took one winter season to crack
the shell on these boots! I was hoping for more from these
boots because they were my winter favorites. Hopefully
Merrell will adjust the rubber shell so it lasts longer than
3 months! I should have listened to the other reviews that
have this same problem.
